Every meaningful journey requires a foundation of mutual trust and clearly defined paths. By booking a trip with Sapiens Roam Ltd., you are entering into a binding agreement that clarifies our promises to you and your commitments to the cultures and environments we visit. We invite you to read these terms as the first step in our shared ethical voyage.
Your contract is with Sapiens Roam Ltd, registered at Isabella Mews, London, N1 4DZ. A binding contract is formed the moment we issue a confirmation invoice following receipt of your initial deposit. This contract is governed by English Law and the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
To secure your curated experience, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total journey cost is required at the time of booking. This allows us to ethically compensate our local partners and secure low-impact transport options in advance.
The remaining balance of your journey must be settled no later than 90 days prior to your scheduled departure. Failure to complete payment by this deadline may result in the cancellation of your booking and the forfeiture of your deposit.
Our transparent pricing includes all philosophical consultations, local guide fees, carbon-offsetting contributions, and accommodation. It does not include international flights (unless specified), personal visas, or discretionary gratuities for local artisans.
We understand that life is unpredictable. Our cancellation policy is designed to balance flexibility for the traveler with the financial stability of the small-scale ethical partners we support.

In the unlikely event that Sapiens Roam must cancel a journey due to unforeseen safety concerns or local instability, we will offer you a full refund of all monies paid or a credit for a future journey of equal value. We are not liable for any secondary costs such as independent flight bookings.
Should you wish to change your travel dates or itinerary after a booking is confirmed, an amendment fee of £100 per person will apply, in addition to any cost increases from our service providers.
Sapiens Roam accepts responsibility for ensuring that the journey components booked with us are supplied as described. We select our local partners for their ethical standards and cultural authenticity. However, we do not accept liability for personal injury or death where there is no fault on our part or the part of our suppliers.
As a reflective traveler, you are responsible for ensuring your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your stay, obtaining necessary visas, and providing accurate health information. You must behave in a manner that is respectful to local customs and the guidelines provided by our guides.
Comprehensive travel insurance is a absolute condition of booking with Sapiens Roam. Your policy must cover cancellation, medical expenses, and emergency repatriation. We reserve the right to request proof of insurance before departure.
